I started my career in Estate Agency in 2001, I have progressed through different roles over the years, working for both corporate companies and independent agencies.

I have always had a real passion for property and I believe this has given me the drive to progress to my current role as Sales Manager with Linley & Simpson.

I have a wide knowledge of the area having both lived and worked in the Aire Valley for most of my career and customer service has always been of the upmost importance to me, building good, long lasting relationships with both buyers and sellers, ensuring we secure repeat business in the future.

I strive for our Sales team to be the best in the business. We are a very motivated and proactive team when finding the right buyers for our properties and our experience and enthusiasm shows when we are negotiating to get the best possible price for your property.

Macaulay Thompson

Branch Manager

Starting as an apprentice in 2012, I have always had a keen interest in property; as a fresh faced teenager, taking the role of Apprentice Negotiator locally in Bingley. Since this time, I have further invested in my own personal studies to be accredited with the industry recognised Level 3 ARLA qualification and BSc (Hons) in Management.

I initially joined the Linley and Simpson team in Ilkley after a short stint with another Yorkshire agent in 2019, before returning to Bingley early 2020 to assist with the merger of Inghams and Henleys and progressing to my current position.

Having always lived and worked within the Aire Valley, I am passionate about the area and future investment which is reflected in my daily work. I will regularly work with and notify landlords investors of ideal rental investment properties within our area depending on their own individual requirements and budget.

When not in the office, I can be found watching, playing or talking about Football and Everton FC with friends and family.
